Dr. Lee Sangyong of NFRDI Enlisted on MARQUIS Who\'s Who for His Research on Seagrass(Zostera marina)

Dr. Lee Sangyong, who is working at Seaweed Research Institute of NFRDI was internationally recognized for his research on ecology of seagrass(Zostera marina), being enlisted on Marquis Who\'s Who in Science and Engineering for 4 consecutive years from 2006.

He was also included in the world\'s top 2000 Outstanding Scientists of 2010 published by International Biographic Center, of Cambridge, England, making entry in two of the world\'s top three dictionaries of international biography.

Seagrass has not been much studied on so far and related data is very lacking. Dr. Lee\'s recent research on the classification and ecology of seagrass is recognized as highly remarkable, being published in various home and international journals, especially in a SCI journal.

Dr. Lee is now studying on how to construct eco-friendly seaforest of seagrass and other seaweed species in the West Sea using stonewall fishing method. The West Sea has a big tidal gap.

Marquis Who\'s Who is a dictionary of international biography which has been annually published since 1899. The dictionary includes people from 215 countries who made an excellent achievement in politics, economy, social study, science and art. It is one of the world\'s top three dictionaries of international biography with IBC of Cambridge, England and ABI(American Biographical Institute).
