The National Insitute of Fisheries Science (hereafter NIFS) held the relocation ceremony of OIE Reference Laboratory for VHS (Viral Haemorrhagic Septicaemia). The OIE Reference Laboratory is the only reference lab in Korea, starting the operation since 2018 by National Fishery Products Quality Management Service, and has been transferred to NIFS in March, 2021 due to administrative system change in the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
