As a part of standardizing the methods for surveys on the cause of cultured fish mortality by natural disasters, NIFS made a leaflet for the 'examination on the dead body of black rockfish'. The leaflet would be distributed to the local governments, relevant organizations, and aquaculture farms.

It also contains the information on critical conditions of rearing environment such as water temperature, dissolved oxygen, low salinity, etc. to prevent damages by natural disasters, as well as the information on the management for black rockfish rearing and symptoms before death.

The leaflet would be available on and offline. The West Sea Fisheries Research Institute would distribute the book until it runs out of stock, and the information is also going to be available on the official website of NIFS (www.nifs.go.kr).
