NIFS announced that it released the annual report on marine environment monitoring in Korea, Volume 71, based on the outcomes of 2022 research on physical, biological, and chemical variations in Korean waters.

The annual report can be downloaded from the official website of Korean Oceanographic Data Center (KODC) of NIFS ( www.nifs.go.kr/kodc). 

The annual report on marine environment monitoring in Korea is the periodical compiling constantly and systematically the outcomes of scientific research on Korean waters since 1920's. Recognized its historicity and academic value, the report was designated as the National Registered Cultural Heritage No.554 by the Cultural Heritage Administration in 2013, for the first time in oceans and fisheries science.
